We took a cruise to celebrate Spring Break. We departed from Miami Terminal G. Upon first arrival in the terminal, the age and lack of cleanliness were apparently going to foreshadow the remainder of the trip. While everyone in the terminal was very nice, it just was not up to the Celebrity status that we have come accustomed to.
Our first stop was in Key West which did go smoothly. It was ...
It was easy to get on and off the ship. I had an inside cabin which was surprisingly roomy. The only thing bad about it was it is very dark and when you wake up you have no idea what time it is so bring a night light and a watch or phone. Beds were extremely comfortable. My assigned steward was absolutely wonderful. The bathroom has liquid body soap and shampoo, but no conditioner. There was ...
This ship had the slowest elevators i have ever seen. Had to take stairs most of the time. It was supposedly remodeled recently, so you would think it would be faster not slower. The service in the buffet was horrible. We had to chase down someone for drinks everytime except once. The housekeeping staff was AMAZING though. The spa staff was wonderful also. Just very disappointed in the over all ...
My husband and I have been on a number of MSC's ships and in the Yacht Club. Of the cruises we have been on the Seashore would be last place..
I broke it down to what was excellent, good and Unacceptable.
Excellent
* Ocean Cay: This private island is a major perk for MSC Cruises guests. It offers beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and plenty of activities to enjoy.

Everything is a lot more crowded than you expect. You stand in line a lot. Lines for the buffet, lines for getting on and off the boat, lines for ELEVATOR, lines for any and all food or snacks. I would rather pay a bit more and travel with fewer people.
Kids are everywhere unsupervised. People let their children run around by themselves. You can't get near a hot tub or pool. Even in the ...
Our family just completed a 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise on the Epic, which was also our first NCL cruise. Prior to boarding, I was absolutely terrified having read all of the recent negative reviews. Having completed the cruise, I must say the Epic gets more criticism than it deserves.
Let's start with the bad:
We had a later board time (I was late doing the online check-in), and ...
March 31 – Port Canaveral –
A pretty day as we got to Terminal 10. The process was to pull up to the terminal, unload luggage then go park in the garage. There were 2 lanes approaching the terminal and everyone was lined up in a single line in the right lane. A few shuttles passed in the left lane then people decided that passengers should use both lanes. We had been waiting in the right ...
Cruise #6 with RCI since 2012. Cost cutting to pay the $11B in pandemic bond debt has really hurt the experience. Food quality and options have declined. Service is hit or miss, with MDR and Windjammer service noticeably worse. Nickel and Diming ($20-ing and $40-ing) for things that aren't worth paying for (e.g. $35 for the escape room, $2 to play skee ball for 30 seconds) -- even the teenagers ...
Ship is beautiful, the service was outstanding! The food was excellent in all areas of the ship!! Smoking in the casino was disgusting it reaked into the shops! Music was not appropriate for holland america crowd! Bb king and rolling stones lounge was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation with anyone! When at sea there was terrible itinerary. Coloring for adults was the big deal ...
All I will say is that COVID must have devastated Princess. Their cost cutting measures are extensive. As a top of the line suite passenger, we come to expect certain little things that help make the cruise memorable. They have eliminated flowers in the suite, chocolates at bed turn down, the sewing kit, pen and stationary, the fruit basket until we asked for one and individual soaps and shampoos. ...
