RCCL always delivers the best all around experience. Symphony, the newest Oasis class ship, offers the very best entertainment of any line. The water show Hiro, in the outdoor aqua theater, is absolutely thrilling and amazing. Best part, it appeals to any age passenger.
The professional ice show surpasses any I've seen on land, and the Broadway production of Hairspray was top quality, and ...
My DH (age 60) and I (age 54) saw a great deal on the NCL Sky. The itinerary was Miami, Half Moon Cay, Nassau, Freeport, Half Moon Cay, Miami with no sea days. We arrived at the terminal at 12:30 pm and were on the ship in 20 minutes.
My 1st impression of the ship was that it was in good condition and the staff was friendly. The ship was refurbished in 2019 and it was very nice. We ...
We went on this cruise to join some family and it was my very 1st cruise. Embarkment was delayed due to a medical emergency, but it felt good to know that I was boarding a ship that they made sure to take care of that person, when they were only one of out of about 3,000. Kudos to the Captain for that.
We were offered an upgrade to the Cloud 9 Spa deck and so GLAD we upgraded. I did 3 ...
This was a charter, Malt Shop Memories, my 4th one. It's a 7d cruise, you go on for the entertainment. It's very pricey, you hope to meet the stars, singers etc.
The surprise is how inaccessible The Beach Boys & Smokey were, & how good/friendly the back up bands/acts were. Brooklyn Bridge (Jimmy Rosica :D) , Zmed Brothers/Everly tribute artists (wow!), Joey Dee (yay), Chris Montez, Sounds of ...
I took this cruise to see what this $115 million dollar amplification was all about- WOW what fun. This ship still has some dated decor (Royal needs to get out of the 80's), but the water slides, laser tag, food were just amazing. So much to do on this ship, one weekend isn't enough. This was a cruise to Nassau but I cruised for the ship ...
You may wonder why I only gave this a 4 star review, when for all the sub-items below I have rated them as 5 stars. The answer is because the ship had just come out of a two week dry dock, and as a result, many cabins, and some hallways had been flooded, and had no hot water or HVAC. One is always warned never to take the first cruise after a refit, and fortunately, I was not significantly ...
My daughter and I booked this cruise wanting some sun and fun and a vacation over a week long. This was great. We know HAL well and her pace suits our needs. We LOVE food, being waited on, quiet time, and a little entertainment. We don't care about lot of drinking and don't want to be onboard with a bunch of screaming kids or drunks. So that did eliminate some cruise lines for us.
This was ...
Since we live within 45 minutes of Baltimore we decided to book at Gandeur of the Seas. The embarkation was so very easy to board the ship and parking was very plentiful. When arriving we went to the Windjammer for a quick meal and then our room was ready. We had booked an oceanview room and it was very clean and a good size. I thought we would get a port hold but I was thankful for the large ...
We chose this cruise to join friends. The ship is lovely, the service is impeccable, and the food is DELICIOUS!! However, when they say free WiFi is included, don't get excited. Only one device can log into WiFi at a time and it is painfully slow. This made it difficult to communicate with each other. Of course, you can upgrade for a price. :)
One small issue is the need for late night ...
This was an excellent value cruise for 5 nights. It was my mom's first cruise and she was very nervous about getting seasick but she was never bothered at all. The entertainment was very good, just wish there had been more of it. The weather was perfect. Had a couple issues with or y room that were quickly resolved. Communication was lacking in pre boarding information. We were told to go to ...
