We are long term NCL fans - Platinum Plus. NCL Joy is a wonderful ship! Food was very good and the crew was amazing, but a bit overworked! I did notice the specialty restaurants are bigger which is good - but the staffing is a bit slimmer so service has slipped a bit. 16 day Panama Canal Cruise from Florida to Calif. Iincredibly beautiful ship, and our 1st experience w/ Haven. Embark/Disembark was a DISASTER w/ no communication re WHY we were standing 1.5 hrs. he sofa was worn out. cushions slanted downward and hard as a rock from over use. the bed topper was very lumpy and had areas that had completely collapsed again from over use..needs to be replaced..the service and friendliness of the the staff was excellent. the food experience was not as good as the past..their cutting back and it was obvious..the same menu for breakfast for the entire cruise. ...

We had a great time with just one tiny complaint- we either had no hot water at all in shower or scalding hot water - nothing in between! Complained in first day and it never got better for the entire cruise. Our room steward was so nice (Jessie) and kept our room clean and stocked with clean towels.
