Family cruise celebrating mine and wife's 70th birthdays. Cruised with two adult children and four grandsons. Best part of cruise were the specialty restaurants. All were excellent. Worst part was Epic was overcrowded. Ship rated for 3900 passengers but there were 4700 on board. Garden buffet so crowded often difficult to find place to sit. Food was good though. We booked this as a family spring break trip. Upon getting to the port, the lines were long and the process was slow.
Once on the ship, the overall service was extremely slow (for everything). It was difficult to see any shows due to the long lines. The food was mediocre at best.
There were some good things, like the band 4 Blue, but that is about as far as it goes.

We choose this cruise because the schedule worked for my daughters spring break from school and we have sailed Norwegian before and had a good experience on past cruises.

Starting from beginning we chose the cruse due to its unique itinerary visiting the virgin islands and private island in bahamas. In addition, the dates fit our schedule perfectly.
Embarkation was seamless and went well. Room was immediately ready and luggage delivery promptly. Room was clean.

A beautiful ship but the food was poor quality compared to Celebrity and Princess. As an avid cruiser for more than twenty years, this was my worst cruise choice yet.
A white fish dish over a bed of white rice should not be covered in brown gravy.
Mushroom caps should not be rock hard and ready for a sling shot.

This cruise was not worth the money! Most of the staff were not polite and definitely did not go out of their way to make it a great experience! It would take a very long time to get a drink. We wanted this cruise because the balcony rooms and being able to go to St. Thomas.
We did have a balcony room, and I can say I enjoyed the room, even if the layout is strange.

This was my 15th cruise, 3rd with NCL. We chose this particular Spring Break cruise to join family with grandchildren. The shows we saw ("Priscella Queen of the Desert" & "Burn the Floor") were the best I've seen on a cruise ship. Loved them. Wish we had known to make reservations for Cirque Du Soleil as soon as we got on board, before muster call. We couldn't get into that one.
