We were on the Encore for a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise departing on Feb 16th in accessible room 10886. Automatic room door was a great help. We chose this cruise primarily because it was a new ship and we wanted to experience the latest and greatest in cruise ship offerings. This was also our longest cruise to date (7 nights) so we spent the extra money on a balcony suite, especially since there were a couple total days at sea.

I have been on at least 20 cruises. This is the darkest ship I have ever been on. I think part of the problem in the buffet is that the ceilings are painted a dark color. This was our first RCCL cruise, we've also done Princess and Carnival several times. I liked the cruise a lot, but probably will not sail with RCCL again.

Had to cancel prior booking in November 2019 and not much selection on short notice. Always sailed Princess in the past.
