The cruise was very disappointing. The entertainment was directed at the older passengers and nothing really available if under 60. No theme night, no white wine onboard as the ship is heading to Asia so they used what was onboard. It was to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary and was a perfect choice. We were married in NZ so it felt right cruising back on the fabulous Majestic Princess. Wanted to see New Zealand. Cruise tours were limited. No real wine tours if that is what you are interested in. Loved the Fjords. Cities were interesting . Missed a port due to fog-Port Chalmers. We chose a 3 night Sydney - Burnie - Melbourne cruise as a sampler and introduction to Cunard cruising. Embarkation was reasonably painless. Chose this cruise for the destinations, which were wonderful. Ship was very clean and overall staff very friendly and attentive. Speciality Restaurants were of a very good standard. As first time Viking Ocean cruisers we enjoyed the ship very much. We have sailed Oceania multiple times. Viking ships like Oceania are not overwhelming in size with great service.
