WORST CRUISE EVER !!!

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Pacific Adventure

Singularly the worst cruise i've ever been on, and i've been many, with more booked this year. The good points.. The ship was clean and the staff were great - particularly the cabin crew we had. But.. The food was disgraceful.. All complimentary areas were cheap slop - heavily cooked mince or shredded meat pieces in sloppy vegetables or god knows what. And for a piece of fish? Cheap, deep ...

First cruise. Not too bad, but not outstanding. The absolute highlight onboard is the staff. All staff are extremely hard working, polite and professional. This is from the cleaners to the entertainers. People like the cruise director are fun and don't mind being silly to get a laugh from passengers. Being our first cruise, we were a little overwhelmed on boarding and there are no clear ...

The Old School with Great Customer Service

RC employees are most likely to assure you fall in love with their customer service. You may not love the ship; Enchantment of the Seas but, you'll definitely have the most memorable moments of how each of the staff members are extremely detail oriented & know how to multi task all while catering to your needs & wants. Wahyu was a gem as he remembered my entire family drink orders & personal ...

Thoroughly enjoyed 8 days on Royal Princess

Will definitely cruise on this ship again if we have the chance. Embarkation was a breeze we were on board within 30 minutes of port arrival. Disembarkation was also good also around 30 mins after joining cue. We have cruised with R.C, P&O, and Carnival previously and found this ship to be in most aspects a cut above. The decor is clearly more premium including the stateroom. Staff were ...

Cruised with our family of 16,14 of them first time cruisers. Chose a short cruise, close to home incase anyone didn't enjoy cruising. The weather was pretty good, fairly calm seas, and everyone enjoyed it (seeing nobody wanted to get off). Kid's aged 9 to 16, were kept busy all day. Gatsby night was really good, dance floor a little small, but the evening was very entertaining. The Bianco ...

Big is Better? For a Princess Cruises Shareholder?

I guess the size of your dividend matters if you hold Princess Cruises shares but the size of the queues matters if you are a passenger on their new giant ships. And I really wonder how much longer the wonderful crews they employ can keep carrying their reputation and where the cruise industry is heading with the number of passengers they are cramming onto their ships. OK this was our 8th ...

FOOD Worst Bacon and Coffee of any cruise ship. Poached eggs came out without and white - just a yolk. Worst breakfast Service ever - 45 minutes for eggs to arrive. Cold toast turned up 5 minutes later. It was only an 8 day cruise but repetion of menu wasn't great. None of these had a huge impact on overall experience. We didn't starve :) SHIP Worst designed Ship we've sailed on. ...

Since our last PO cruises 8yrs ago PO standards have dropped to below par. This was our 4th time using PO Aust. So many add ons and sales on board to get the passengers spending more money. It seemed there was always someone from some department trying to get you to sign up or upgrade. They would approach you while eating, ordering drinks, walking past them, leaving ship etc. The ...

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Carnival Luminosa

Fun Ship. Good for under 40's. Not so much or older cruisers other than those who love countless varieties of trivia. Deck 7 cabin was adequate and very quiet. Larger balcony than normal. Bed was hard which may suit some but not those side-sleepers with dodgy lower backs. Most staff were friendly as expected. Tyler the cruise director was one of the best and involved we have ...

The ship fitout is very nice, with polished stone everywhere and lovely light fittings etc. The theatre especially, is very nice with plenty of room and small tables for drinks. The entertainment, however, was appalling. The performers were mediocre at best, and the lighting was atrocious, with extremely bright lights aimed right into the eyes of the audience giving blinding flashes ...
