We just had one of the worst cruises ever.
Our boat was stuck in port in Ushuaia for two days before leaving for the “Cruise of a lifetime”. To Antarctica. We keep being put off we were originally leaving at 6pm on the 24th. Loved seeing antarctica. we booked as former fans of regent after 5 previous trips. We chose this cruise line based on the recommendation of friends, and the particular ship based on sailing date. What we found was that the Marina was designed strictly for tropical sailing, not colder climates. Buenos Aries. Embarkation was a nightmare. The cruise terminal was destroyed by a storm 4 weeks ago. Princess has not adequately responded. If you have a Princess transfer you will be taken care of. First time sailing Celebrity. We wanted to go to Antartica (but not on an expedition ship). The itinerary was great! However, we missed the Falkland (Malvinas) Island stop due to it being a tendered stop and the weather was not great (or so they said). That created a little too many sea days all together.
