Choose this cruise. A. Been on a celebrity ship before = greatly disappointed as service standards dropped dramatically, some of staff very rude, food in self service good but sometimes very difficult to get a seat. Food in allotted restaurant not well written in the menu and vegetables consisted of French beans / carrots every evening meal choices werenot great ...
We decided to do this cruise to see Alaska once again after 10 cruises with Celebrity we had a great time we caught up with friends and made some new ones that's one of the nice things about cruising , I suppose you start to compare different areas couple of things we felt could have been better are rated below older ship cabin shower curtain in bathroom , food was a bit all of the same in the MDR ...
We carefully chose the Emerald after much research, as this was our first cruise. There is no doubt that the people making this ship go are sincere and dedicated to making customer service the #1 thing they do from day to day. Service in the restaurants are consistant. Share is basically a $150 a plate dine for $29 dollars.
Having a Masters Degree in Music, I'm rather confused with the critic ...
Having sailed on the Norweigan Epic to the Mediterranean 5 years previously and enjoyed we opted to do a cruise with NCL which was entirely different. We decided to travel to Alaska. Coming from Barbados with a tropical climate year round we thought this would be a great experience.
Embarking was ok, would you believe everyone had to discard the water or liquids they were drinking before ...
We chose this cruise after narrowing down the date range and what we wanted to do. I was happy to sail with Holland America again. I had a great experience with them many years ago. We were looking for a cruise and land package and Holland America had just what we wanted. We booked a vista suite and it was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony quite a bit. The food was excellent, ...
Enjoyed the Alaskan cruise fully. Weather was great which helped tremendously. Had an inside cable that was not small compared to other lines. All staff was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed our room steward. Food options were plentiful and it was our first cruise with no set dinning time which worked out well. Entertainment started out slow the first couple of days/nights but picked up ...
We have always wanted to venture to Alaska, and the Inside Passage was truly amazing. So many islands, beautiful terrain. Lovely boat, overall, I must say.
GREAT: America's Test Kitchen presentations were amazing. BB King club was also fantastic and fun! The best, however, was Fusion, the Quartet--such very talented musicians and just so entertaining.
Erin was fantastic, and we ...
We had heard so many wonderful things about the Alaska cruises, we finally decided to go on one. We were not disappointed. We loved everything about our time in Alaska. We live in Montana, so we actually felt right at home in each port - it was definitely more relevant to our lifestyle in Montana than our previous Caribbean cruises. The weather held out at each port and we had sunshine, 70's ...
We chose this cruise - three cabins - as a family excursion. Our adult offsprings had never cruised and we felt it would be a great way to introduce them to a wonderful experience.
My husband and I chose not to have a balcony since on other cruises we have enjoyed this special feature however when paying for three cabins - its costly. Our son and his wife had a Balcony whereas our daughter ...
BACKGROUND: One year ago we tried Celebrity for the first time (Solstice, 7N Seattle to AK RT) based on its reputation for its food and luxurious accommodations. Because one of us needed to rent a mobiiity scooter (pending hip surgery) we opted for a somewhat larger cabin and switched from a standard balcony to a Sky Suite. The extra space was ideal for parking the contraption. Our adjacent ...
