Total incompetence

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Crown Princess

The first 4 cruises with Princess were great. Then we did a Norwegian cruise in the Mediterranean and came back to Princess on an Alaskan cruise. If something could go wrong, it did. To start, there were no warnings that covid was present on board, so we did not take the proper precautions and we both caught covid halfway thru the 11 day cruise. We brought two covid tests with us...just in ...

Horrible ship

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Carnival Luminosa

I’m actually writing this in the airport in Seattle. Just got off this morning and can not get over how horrible this ship was. We are platinum members so been on a lot of carnival ships and Luminosa was by far the worst! The staff is wonderful as always except for the cruise director Neil. Never saw or heard the guy. The most low energy ship I’ve ever been on. Now for the food…Dining room was ...

horrible care after the cruise.

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Norwegian Encore

Start out with a few positive things. The ship was clean and well-maintained. Food choices were pretty decent. The onboard entertainment was probably the best part of being on the ship. We did see a lot of neat and scenic areas in our travels around Alaska. On the negative side. It was very crowded and noisy on the ship. We did not spend enough time at our ports. We were rushed and could not ...

Dissapointing

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Majestic Princess

Prefacing this by saying I am exhausted, angry and disappointed. As someone that is a part of the service and hospitality industry, Princess fails in my eyes and while I rarely write negative reviews this one spilled out of me. There were a few positives, being the rare staff member who tried their best to help us. I will name them at the end to note their efforts, but first comes the long ...

Worst customer service

I choose this cruise because a friend and his family was also going to be on board. When we booked it said that the price included drink package for everyone on board. Our kids are 17&19 so they couldnt get the alcohol and we were told they would have the soda package and less fees because no alcohol. When we got on board and my kids tried to order soda they said no package for them. Also there ...

Covid cruise and overworked staff

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Norwegian Encore

Let's start off with saying that I knew the risks involved with getting on a cruise ship with an uptick in covid. Wore a mask and santatized and still got covid. On the first day of embarking, I suspect that the reverse airflow from the bathroom and sewage system (intense sewage smell) is how I got covid. I let the stateroom steward know and asked them if my stateroom was supposed to smell so ...

This cruise ship was not worth the money. They also could care less about cancelled flights and transportation which is included in your package. Horrible customer service. Food was average. Boat was small. Butler tired. Excursions ok at best. Only excursion I enjoyed was the one i booked myself. They sale you with all these add one but don’t deliver. Cruise was actually boring. Minimal activity. ...

Worse cruise I have ever been on

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Discovery Princess

My wife and I have been on many cruise ships, as we are 70+ YOA now. We went to Alaska on the Princess Discovery. The ship itself was very nice and so was the crew members. BUT, I have a lot to say about the whole experience. First, when we scheduled the trip, all we could speak to was people from another country who we could not understand and they had no idea of what we wanted. I must of called ...

Poor Experience with Customer Service

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Noordam

I had an 18 day cruise/land HA trip to Alaska. The crusing part on Noordam was great in terms of seeing a beatiful scenery. The rest was OK - the food was not that impressive and there were not a lot of activities. The staff was very nice. The land portion of the trip was somewhat disappointing - the hotel in Anchorage was dirty and not very attractive. A month before the cruise, I had an ...

The Alaskan cruise was good. The weather was actually warm. lots of shorts and t-shirts moments. Cruise was casual, no need to bring a suit or formal wear. boarding was good and excursions were good. staying in the Haven makes the trip a lot less crowded We would definitely stay Haven again if we were to travel with this cruise line again. given our post cruise experience i dont see that ...
