A great cruise to a beautiful part of the country

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

The Mariner was a beautiful ship with amazing staff, lots to do, good food, great ports of call and fun excursions. It was our first trip to Alaska and it was great. The scenery was gorgeous all the way from north to south. The size is just right so you have enough variety in restaurants, activities, excursions but you do not feel like you are surrounded by hundreds of people. The cabins are ...

First Cruise/Fabulous Experience

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

I read all of the reviews I could find to select the best cruise for my family. I didn't want a huge ship with crowded facilities and screaming children. Although this cruise was pricey, the cruise discourages tips, and everything is included. There is no nickel and diming that I have heard occurs on other cruise lines. It turned out that this cruise met all of my expectations and more. The ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

I just had to add this review having read a recent one from someone who cruised in July 2019. I'm obviously really sorry that their cruise was not up to standard, however I have been on RSSC Voyager twice before and due to go again very soon. I do accept that cruise reviews are subjective, and that we all see things in a different way. I would say that a number of comments made are simply not ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

This was our first trip on Regent, and we were very pleased that it was on their newest ship. We are Oceania cruisers, which will probably always be our first choice. However we picked this one because we wanted to see as much as possible of Iceland and Greenland, and Regent's itin made three stops in both countries, which was the most I could find on any cruise line. It was a fabulous trip, ...

Beautiful Ship, Average Service, Food & Excursions

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Explorer

My husband and I chose this ship after seeing the PBS special, "Ultimate Cruise Ship." We were sorely disappointed, though, especially given the cost of this cruise. You'd expect that an average cost of $2,000 per day for the two of us would have resulted in exceptional service and food. Wrong! Not only was the food institutional quality, but the service on the ship was only average. We even had a ...

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Seven Seas Navigator

As wary cruisers we wondered if we were risking too much committing to a 29 day cruise? Not a problem at all! We selected a cabin midship with no balcony and found we had plenty of options to sit quietly on deck if we chose to. Being low and in the middle, our cabin was very stable and we had a smooth journey for 29 nights. Reports of wild weather nights surprised us. The cabin was ...

We were first time REGENT cruisers, although we have cruised MANY times before on Celebrity, Princess, Azamarra, etc......This was a 18-night "Panama Canal" cruise that started in SF on July 20 and ended up in Miami.on Aug 7. Ship was very small and intimate, nicely refurbished. Cabin was VERY large and very well designed, but we were on the 8th deck in Cabin 868 and the vibrations from the ...

We chose this cruise because we were tired of being nickeled and dimed to death with other cruise lines & the Itinerary was one we had not experienced before, in addition my sister-in-law recently lost her husband and we invited her to join us. We went to some very nice ports and a few ugly ports... Guatemala and Ecuador. I have to say that this was a very enjoyable cruise except for the ...

Other folks invited us to go with them , so we did as we had not sailed on this line prior. Really disappointing. Very inconsistent food and service in the dining venues except for Prime 7 and Signatures. Mediocre foods some night at best , very good other nights. A joke for a tea service in the late afternoons. We just expected so much more for this highly overpriced line and have received much ...

We'd previously cruised the RSSC Alaska route on the Navigator Ship and choose to do the cruise again with friends but this time it was the Mariners route. The Mariner is almost double the size but very similar in the overall treatment of and services for guests. Billed as the first all-suite ship, Mariner is certainly a lovely ship. Granted, it's gracious but dated interior was due for a ...
