First World Experience in Untainted Environment

Review for a South America Cruise on Quasar Evolution Yacht

I would rate higher than 5 stars, if possible. From the moment I contacted Diane (with Quasar), the 5+ star customer experience began. I felt as if I had a personal travel consultant, because she is so responsive, attentive and helpful, yet I knew her and her husband are serving everyone traveling with Quasar. They are simply amazing! We booked a 7 day cruise through the Galápagos Islands with ...

Grace is a small, classic yacht ~ intimate experience, perfect itinerary, incredible crew, incredible naturalists ~ exceeded expectations in every category. Just a wonderful week, active, interesting, delicious, lots of fun and laughs. Couldn't recommend higher and you have access to places and people that you would not ordinarily have. Every step of the trip from planning to flights, ...

Summary Statement: On several nights we had to ask ourselves if we were REALLY alive, had the things experienced over the course of a day REALLY happened? It was that good and just kept getting better. Animal List: Tortoise, hammerhead shark, whitetip shark, blacktip shark, Galapagos shark, sea lion, fur seal, orca, dolphin, sea turtle, pufferfish, flying fish, scorpionfish, hawkfish, ...

Most amazing trip! Go with Quasar!

Most people think Galapagos is a once in a life time adventure. We actually went twice. My extended family of 20 people went to the Galapagos (again) in December of 2021. This time we were lucky enough to get a trip on the Evolution with Quasar. Honestly, I did not think our trip could get better than last time, but it did. This boat is awesome, but the staff was above and beyond. We were ...

The Trip of My Lifetime

Review for a South America Cruise on Quasar Evolution Yacht

My Galapagos adventure was the event of my lifetime. I have traveled extensively, lived in Europe and Asia, and the beauty and peace I experienced throughout the Galapagos Islands was singular and memorable. Too precious to explain effectively, really. The natural white noise - the sounds of the surf, the calls of the birds, the barks of the sea lions, the rustle of the wind on the cacti, ...

Best Cruise Ever! The Galapagos Islands

Review for a South America Cruise on Quasar Evolution Yacht

We wanted to see The Galapagos Islands and a good friend recommended Quasar Evolution as the best way to go. We were not disappointed. From the minute we arrived by plane on the island of San Cristobal we were greeted warmly by the head guide, Alex. The yacht holds only 32 guests and we were all transported by bus to the port where we went via "panga" (dingy) to the lovely 3-masted ship. Once on ...

Galapagos! This should be in your top 10 cruise list!

You go through Quito/Guayaquil Ecuador to Baltra or San Cristbol to catch the boat. This is not a luxury cruise. It’s an adventure cruise. Evolution was a leap of fate as finding specific reviews of individual boats was lacking & after a 1 ½ yrs of research I ran across a review that said the staff & guides are what’s important in Galapagos and it was 100% right. The Naturalists and the ...

Galapagos Perfection - x2, I booked twice in the same year!

I went on the same boat last October and booked again because every single aspect of the trip exceeded my expectations. The itinerary and staff ratio led me to book the first time, but the food, accommodations, and crew made it an easy choice for trip #2. The islands are wildly different depending on the season, I definitely recommend going more than once! The guides are excellent and the small ...

Outstanding Intimate Trip

We loved almost everything about this trip. The naturalists were invaluable. Rafa has passion and an encyclopedic knowledge of plant and animal life which makes the long walks really interesting. Carolina is tremendously passionate and brings a positive and youthful energy to her work. Both took endless video and photos of our excursions and generously presented us with the photos and a ...
