We went because we wanted to see the Panama Canal and that we did but even that tour had a lot of problems like getting off the ship late, to not having a Panama Canal pilot ready to go, getting back 2 1/2 hours late. I was expecting more from this cruise. The food was average and there were problems with the life vests not fitting many people on the ship during the drill. There was NO sanitary toilet seat covers on public bathrooms. Robes were too small and our beds were set up wrong. On the good side, the ship is beautiful and entertainment was great. -very good food, approachable chefs proud of their craft
-good organization by Princess to have specialty restaurants open for breakfast to lessen the crowd factor

We took a short cruise to St. John and Halifax for a quick getaway. We parked in the lot next to the ship. We found many large screws in the lot which we moved from the parking area. Given the size of the Regal Princess, we were impressed with the overall organisation and dedication from the staff - it felt like a smaller ship.
