We chose this transatlantic for its course towards copenhagen. this was our tenth or so ta and our second princess cruise. we read the reviews and expected a "deluxe ship". we were driving from my home in palm beach county to port evergladesin a one way rental car. about 18 hours before embarkation we were notffied by princess email that embarkation would be drastically delayed due to a ...

We had never done a crossing and looked forward to seeing a part of the world we had never been to. Being early in the season, the weather wasn’t the best but we planned for this. When we hit a storm that caused very high waves the captain was very reassuring and we knew we were in good hands. Our only disappointment on the Regal is that it didn’t have the indoor pool area like other Princes ...

The ship is large but easy to get around. We had a mini suite on deck 10. Good location. The Stewart gave us excellent service. The stabilizer on the ship worked very good through one day of high seas. The port Ponta Delgada was a misty day. We had taken that tour (Adventure Azores) 4 years ago and of course it was better because we had the sun. In Belgium we did Ghent Canal Cruise. It was ok. ...

Filthy room on arrival and sub par entertainment

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Royal Princess

First time on a cruise. Expectations were high. Those glitzy commercials... First, the positives. Overall it was a relaxing and friendly environment. I cannot say enough positive about the wait staff in the dining areas and every other staff member we crossed was cheery and enthusiastic and very willing to help and engage. The state room was filthy on arrival. Feces smeared on the sides ...

Royal Princess fun cruise

There were 6 of us on this cruise with two under 6 years old. One of us had platinum status so we boarded immediately after checking in. The food was excellent on board. My medallion steak on the 2nd night was the highlight of eating. Even better than the rib eye at the Crown Grill. We only got off of the ship at Mazatlan for 30 minutes. We stayed on board with the little ones playing ...

Since we've been to all these places more than twice and have cruised to the ports more than twice. This cruise was strictly for R&R and my hubby's birthday, where the only thing you worry about is getting dressed to eat and see one of our favorite cities again (PVR). The medallion is something new where we were lead to believe it's a way of communicating with your friends and family on the ...

I live in the Los Angeles area and boarding in San Pedro was perfect. The embarkation went very smoothly and the staff was very welcoming. The ship is big but with the Ocean Medallion it was easy to find everything and find other people in your party. The excursions were great, it was very easy to get around and they staff explained everything very well, we had plenty of time in each port to see ...

The Perfect Cruise!!

This cruise was exactly what I expected. Perfecto! I can't think of any situation where I was disappointed. The crew was always helpful and friendly. I got to know many of them closely as I frequented many of the same places. They knew me by the second night. Always a smile. The room was great. I had a Mini Suite. (I read a really bad review of the mini suite on the Royal, I swear those passengers ...

Nice ship

I chose this because of the ports, two new Mexican ports on the west side. However, they were disappointing. Cabo required a tender and we didn’t get on the beach until almost 3 PM! Also, to pay for a ship excursion or a private beach club was $100 each, and the public beach was crammed with vendors so not pleasant. Water was freezing. In Mazatlan I had booked the salsa and salsa, which I had ...
