Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Orchestra

We chose this cruise based strictly on itinerary and price. It was our first (and last) cruise with MSC. With many cruises under our belts, this was one of the worst, ranking it slightly below NCL. A few positives: This is a very port intensive cruise, with only 1 sea day and 8 ports (2 days in St. Petersburg) on an 11 day itinerary. Best ports were St. Petersburg, Tallin, and Stockholm, in our ...

This was our first time on NCL. We have taken approximately 15 cruises, 10 of which have been over 10 days and sailed to a variety of ports in Europe and the Mediterranean. My husband & I picked NCL since it went to places we had not been in the Baltic. NCL was very reasonably priced, so that gave us more time to spend in Europe pre & post cruise. Our poor experience started before the cruise ...

Nice ship, Terrible (but a lot) of food

The ship is very nice. The pools are OK. The team - excellent. No real shows at night. the food is very very bad. the lowest of the lowest quality of ingredients - for instance: the was only rice Pilaf and they try to convince us that the RIZZOTO is good. the Chops are only with fat, almost no meat. Also this is a Baltic cruise - they do not serve SALMON !!! the staff is ordered to ...

We chose this cruise due the fact we wished to see Baltic cities we had never visited before. The issues that I wish to address are far too many to enumerate so I will attempt to limit my review to those concerns which prompted us to provide a negative review. CABIN. Our cabin, although comfortable and as described, exhibited several sanitary and material deficiencies. The toilet (near the ...

Nice ship but way too crowded

First, the positives: the ship is new and in great shape. A lot of restaurants and activities. Great cabin showers. Efficient crowd wrangling, which is important with a ship of this size (about 4000 passengers). Interesting ports around the Baltic Sea. But... the negatives really outweighed the positives for me. I've been on about ten cruises, and this was by far the worst experience. The ...

Total Disappointment

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Regal Princess

Princess used to be our favotite cruise line. Our cabin attendant was excellent, but most of the other service staff were from just plain rude to pretty good. Really, have you ever run into rude servers on a cruise? We hadnt, but we have now. This kind of service would be unacceptable at Walmart, Applebees, or anywhere in the US. Honestly, Im not a snob. It was strange. The dining was a joke. ...

The boarding process was a complete chaos. the photographers want to take photos of everyone who go aboard, and when someone has refused they chased him or her. then there was the counter for the drinks packages. again, a little bit of explanations that there is nothing free to drink will help passengers decide. the ship is perfectly clean, 24 hours a day the crew are cleaning the ship. however ...
