Excellent Baltic Experience

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Orchestra

The cruise was excellent. I must admit I was a little uneasy about the cruise line given some other reviews I had seen, but decided to go ahead as the price was very affordable. We certainly had a great experience. The ship was beautiful; our cabin (ocean view) was spacious compared to some cruise lines and taken care of very well. The shows/ entertainment were also very good; this was ...

We boarded the Regal in Warnemunde (a beautiful seaside town in Northern Germany) and embarked on an amazing cruise of the Baltics. We truly enjoyed every port which included Tallinn -- old town is very unique and well "preserved"; St. Petersburg - which has so much to see and do in two days that you really need the time; Helsinki - a very interesting jewel of the Baltics; Stockholm - beautiful ...

Beautiful ship, well appointed

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Itinerary was fantastic. Experience was awesome. Cost was bit pricey. Be aware that you will have one night when you can get your laundry done for $19.95, otherwise laundry is very expensive. Best value is the prepaid drinks offer, individual bar drinks are expensive but this is true of other cruise lines. The Tropicana dining area is very, very noisey and conversation is difficult. Entertainment ...

We chose this cruise to see the Baltic. We added a few days in Germany after the cruise to pursue seeing my Husband's Grandfather's homeland of Germany. We highly recommend this tour and cruise line. It was great getting on in Germany versus Copenhagen. I think the check in was easier, and we had a day to relax while other's were touring. One down size was the excursions. There was too ...

Excellent cruise for families who love history

Our family of five (kids ages 13/1315) thought that this was the best cruise we had had in a while. The dining room staff was prompt and friendly which is especially important to us as my daughter is on a special diet for Crohn's disease. Our head waiter and waiter took excellent care of her. Our assistant waiter was prompt with the wine list and with coffee and tea every night after ...

We chose this cruise because of its perfect itinerary and our fantastic experiences with MSC. Starting conveniently in Warnemunde, Germany (we're German) we cruised the baltic sea and had stopps in Poland, Latvia, Ltiuania, Estland, Poland, Finland, Sweden and Denmark plus one sea day. Honestly, we were a bit concerned because of MSC Magnifica's bad ratings for but gladly non of them turned ...

Our best cruise ever!

My wife and I chose this cruise because of the itinerary (Baltic Sea Cruise). Plus, we have cruised Carnival pretty much exclusively for the last 10 - 12 years, so we were ready for a change. And we are glad we did change! For all of the cruises we have taken, this one was, hands down, the best cruise we have ever been on. Not only was the itinerary excellent (especially St Petersburg Russia) but ...

I wanted to see some of the Scandinavian countries, The cruise itself was excellent. I did have a major problem that was NOT of Princesses making. I was to board the ship in St Petersburg. The day I was to board I was robbed - my passport, money, credit cards . I was able to het a new passport from the Embassy - it took about 2 hours. I had a friend with money and credit cards so I was not ...

Route: 22 day voyage: Warnemunde – Tallinn – St Petersburg – Helsinki – Stockholm – Copenhagen – Kristiansand – Bergen – Glasgow – Belfast – Cork – Boston – New York City 1. General Comments: We are regular cruisers, and this trip covered several places on our bucket list. We had the rare situation of sunshine at all stops; temperatures were in the 60s. We were a full ship with some 3,000+ ...

Wanting to explore the countries in the Baltic Sea we selected Regal Princess on the size and age of the ship and were not disappointed. The service and presentation of the staff are outstanding, they are always very professional in all interactions with passengers. We had only come off a Royal Carribbean cruise Sydney to Singapore 4 days prior to our Regal Princess cruise and were very ...
