terrible arrangement of time. By the time we got to the baths to snorkel we were told we had 20 minutes in the water and must be back on the catamaran and head back to land. Complete waste of a day!!!

The Baths were on the intinerary, but the ship went no where near them. So you could not get to them. Excursions were small and expensive, but having been there I really wanted to go again. Did not happen.

Wanted to go see Little Dix Bay Resort, where we had a memorable vacation years ago, but it is evidently closed for renovation. Many people enjoyed The Baths.

Unfortunately the seas were too rough this day and we were not able to have our private beach party. The cruise line improvised and we had our barbecue on board the ship that day.

Took shuttle to Baths. Was fun until Disney ship arrived with hundreds of people. Just ridiculous. Some couldn't walk well through the caves, we had to wait for 80 people or so to pass to return to beach. If you go, go early.

Beautiful place but we had no guide to lead us through the path to the Baths. Huge error on Windstar's part.

Unless you book an excursion, you will not actually be on the island. The Prickly Pear Beach Barbecue is on an island off of Virgin Gorda--it's national preserve. A little disappointing.

I recommend the Sailaway to Savannah excursion IF you are able to snorkel AND if you are able to swim to shore and back AND if you don't mind leaving your personal belongings unattended and unsecured aboard the catamaran. The Guides make a kick-ass rum punch! Had a couple of PainKillers at a local bar. I had been in a royally bad mood all day. Drank two PainKillers and my mood made a 180 degree turn! Woo-hoo! The public restroom we found was beyond disgusting. Lunch was overpriced and we kept our fingers crossed we didn't get sick. (We didn't.) Suggest you try a PainKiller, but return to your ship to eat lunch. (Pack a breakfast or protein bar to tide you over.) Read Less

Typical Caribbean island - very pretty. The ship's tour is nice but a bit pricy. I'd recommend doing this, though, if it is your first time in this port.

Spanish Town is small quiet and laid back but a good jumping off point for island junkets. The Baths are a $5 taxi ride and worth the long walk down to the giant rocks at the shore. Snorkeling is good.

Was not impressed at all with this port. Our itinerary said Tortola, British Virgin Island. Mostly Tortola will consist of Roadtown, not this trip. We went to Virgin Gorda, Spanish Town. The island was not prepared to deal with the large volume of guest coming off the ship. Most of the time they get smaller ships, they were more than overwhelmed. Needlessly to say we got off and got back on board. Our family that went with us did enjoy the island tour when they finally got on and it was well spent money and the rest of my family enjoyed going to the baths and said it is a must see and do. I will be looking forward to that on our next visit. Read Less

It's very pretty but pretty limited. We preferred Saba as a remote place. So many tourists and not much to offer. The water is the thing, of course, and it is spectacularly beautiful and just the right temperature.

In 1997, we visited the Bath's in Virgin Gorda, and I would have liked to go again but even in 1997 I had trouble with the steps and could not do the Devil's Bay trail. I really would have liked to go back to the Baths and get some better photos. But since the excursion was full, that was not a possibility. So we took a tender in and got a taxi. The scooter had a problem yesterday and Bob wanted to get some stuff to fix it so we visited three hardware stores, a couple of cemeteries and the airport and had a nice morning for $70.00 Read Less
