We crossed the road and turned right after leaving the ship, and took a regular bus which does a circular tour. It took 40 minutes and cost 1.33 euros per person. We then had a walk round and stopped for coffees at a nice pavement cafe.

Just walked around the town as it had been drizzling and overcast. It would have been lovely if the weather had held out!

We took a tour with Tours4Cruisers. We had contacted Laura in advance and she told us it was 17 Euros for the tour and one pays at the end. We walked off the ship and found her in her traditional garb. The tour showed us the sights of Vigo. Would recommend this company, as the tour was great and low priced. We made arrangements to meet up with this same company in La Coruna. After the tour we walked around old town and stopped at an oyster bar for a cold drink. Then made our way back to the ship. Vigo again is a very small city with not very much to do. The main shopping strip is about 15mins walk from the port on google maps. If you fancy some shopping ( H&M, Zara, Pull & Bear) and some fresh sea food its worth the walk. If you are after scrumptious fresh sea food and tinto de verano thats not too far from the cruise I would visit Restaurante Rias Baixas 2. The food is yummy, however the staff do not speak any English at all, but I speak conversational Spanish so that helped. Read Less

Easy walk from the ship as it docks in the middle of town, main issue was that it was Sunday and everything was closed

A big city with long hot streets full of shops like any other city. Some nice green areas around the harbour to walk around and relax in. Found Joules Vernes statue.
