Not as nice as Lisbon, city coverered in graffitti which takes away from its appeal. City bus is fine to take around.

Very accessible port, as we berthed minutes away from the town. As in all ports we visit, we do some research & opt to do things we want to do & see.

We decided to look around this port on our own. It is very pretty and has a large shopping centre with coffee shops & restaurants all within two/three minutes walking distance from ship.

A pleasant surprise. We went for a walk to the top of the hill and the castle remains. Some wonderful panaromic views can be enjoyed from here.

We did our own thing in Vigo, went for a walk around the town, a nice place to have a little shop, or just check out some of the maritime history.

As we do not go on excursions we just go as and when we decide. I had not really heard of Vigo but it was one of the best port for us as it was flat and loads to see and places to eat.

My husband and I enjoyed doing our own exploring at this port. We strolled around the town which was very nice. A little frustrating at first only because we had to get our bearings as to where we were exactly on the map. The street names are on the buildings, not on posts. Be aware that if one can't walk uphill, better to hire a cab or take a tour. Read Less

Good Spanish Town, quite hilly for looking around, but well worth it. Local Coffee shops excellent value at Euro 1.20 a cup - Starbucks eat your heart out!

We did our own excursion, walking to the tippy-top of the ancient fort. An amazing vista awaits those willing to take the hike--if you can do stairs (A LOT OF STAIRS, beware). Breathtaking. This little fishing village has a lot more to see than one imagines just getting of the ship at the dock. Lovely. I would happily dock there again. Read Less

Vigo docks right in the town. No bus needed and quite a novelty. Vigo is interesting, but main sights out of town. We used tours 4 cruisers and did a half day tour. They are dressed in national costume when you get off the boat. We saw a lovely beach and had ice cream, went to a lovely house and gardens then had a wonderful view from the fort at the top overlooking Vigo. Saw so much we wouldn't have just staying in port and the tour guide was great. All for €15 each. Back in time for lunch. Avoid the old town rip offs. We found a great tapas bar and deli casa samaniego. Read Less
