Took the HOHO for a tour around the entire island - very beautiful city! ...

Arrived a little late. Since it was an evening arrival, (7pm-ish), EVERYONE wanted off the boat at the exact same time. Very long line. Additionally, we paid a LOT of money to see the Butchart Gardens, but when all was said and done, we were barely there for 90 minutes before we had to get back on the bus (and weren't allowed to stay for the fireworks). ...

Waste of a stop, we were limited to 9pm-11:30pm for our port times due to changes in the itinerary and we didn't even bother getting off since there was no time to do anything and any restaurant we wanted to try was closing due to the late hour. ...

Beautiful and clean. NCL only gives you like an hour here by the time you get off and back in however so while it’s an amazing stop, it is not worth it sadly on a cruise. ...

pier a little less than a mile to great downtown area. buses charging a lot ($30 canadian) to take you there and back. we wanted to go see the gardens though. the tour people and drivers at the pier don't want to take you there because it's "far". it's less than 20 miles. problem is they get stuck there while you're there. we manage to work a deal with a guy had a passenger van who'd give us a ...

We didn't have anything planned for this stop but ended up catching a human pulled rigshaw right at the pier. This was not a cheap excursion but proved to be so informative and fun. We got to go to a local grocery store, see all of the sights and the tour guide kept us laughing the entire time. We also didn't have to wait in a long line to catch the bus back to the pier at the end of the tour. ...

Chose the Buchart Gardens tour through Royal Caribbean and thoroughly enjoyed both the gardens and the tour guide who took us through town both ways. He was informative and showed us a lot of cool stuff. ...
