I enjoyed Venice. I booked my own tours through Viator. I went to Murano and Burano and would recommend this. I also stayed for a day in San Marco which was very nice. Bring tall rubber rain boots or buy the plastic booties the street vendors sell! ...

Cruise terminal is easy to get to from central Venice, we used the people mover, located by the bus station and we there in around 10 minutes. We booked an excursion for the way home but this was cancelled due to the weather conditions not allowing the ship to return to this port. ...

Fourth time in Venice so we took the secret itineraries tour at the Doge Palace. Worth it! As we were there on the first Sunday of the month, we got in free to the Accademia. By the time we left, there were people queuing to get in. We also visited the Guggenheim but it was a bit small with a long wait to buy tickets. Food was excellent! ...
