Loved Tokyo. We had almost 3 days here and took the Metro everywhere. Very safe and easy to use, although trying to find the correct exit in the underground stations is difficult as they are so big. The Robot Restaurant is absolutely hilarious and a must see for anyone who doesn't mind loud music and lots of colour. The views from the Government Building and the Tokyo Tower were really good. ...

The ship docked at Yokohama so the ship's shuttle dropped us off at the train station where we could catch a train to Tokyo which was a 45 min trip.We were told we could get money from ATMs at 7Eleven or the Post Office, neither of which was handy. Local ATMs only accept local cards. On top of that, what they don't tell you is that the shops don't open till 10.00am so there was a very long ...

we took a shuttle bus from Yokohama Port to Disneyland non-stop and did Disney for 2 days then went into Tokyo and stayed in the Asakusa area. Loved our time here, toured the Sensoji Temple area, shopped and took a rickshaw ride along the cherry blossom lane along the Sumadi River. The Hotel Hatago was excellent as well. ...
