Never again on Royal Caribbean

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

Rude staff, poor service, very unresponsive to needs. Food quality was very bad. Breakfast: Orders that had any variation from the menu, for example no cheese on my egg, were often wrong because the staff did not understand english well. It took may attempts to fix wrong orders. It took 25 minutes to get a cup of coffee in the dinning room. Orders were missing toasts. The list goes ...

Customer service on Serenade of the Seas is surprisingly lacking.

Royal Caribbean was so disappointing this time around. The staff did not seem sympathetic to our plight of lost luggage, and assured us that we would be able to shop for clothes on our excursions. We were not able to shop for any essentials on our excursions as we only went to souvenir shops. I suggested that Royal help us find a way to get to shopping and they did not. All they were able to ...

A great itinerary and cruise!

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Azamara Quest

This was an outstanding cruise! We picked this cruise for 2 reasons: the itinerary and our previous pleasant experiences with Azamara. We were not disappointed. We were traveling with friends; this was their first cruise in many years. They were also very impressed and pleased. The refurbished Quest is gorgeous, particularly the re-purposed Living Room. I think it was our favorite place ...

IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE TO CELEBRITY !

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

This was my 5th cruise, 4th with Celebrity and first time on the Silhouette. I couldn't believe the Main Dinning room's menu never changed during these couple years. Also the 14/F buffet was lousy! The bathroom and parts of the public area smelled very bad. The odour came from the bathroom pipes and drainage system as the ship is not well maintained. The staff needs to be trained before ...

Beautiful But Unreliable Ship, Terrible Customer Treatment

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Viking Star

This was supposed to be The trip of a lifetime for us. Instead thanks to the unreliable nature of this new ship's propulsion system we were stranded in Tallinn, Estonia only a third of the way through our planned voyage. We booked and paid for this cruise two years ago on the the strength of Vikings's River Cruise reputaion. All I can say is either their river cruise reputation is exagerated or ...

Horrible Customer Service

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Viking Star

I wish I could divide the review and give separate ratings for the ship experience and the home office customer service experience. We were on the cruise that was terminated 5 days after sailing due to a "engine malfunction." Background: We are Oceania and Azamara customers not river cruisers. Viking Oceans marketing their ocean going operation to compete with this niche market and as a "5 ...

Not Really Ready for Primetime Ocean Sailing

Review for a Transpacific Cruise on Viking Star

Overall thing wer going well. The television had a tendency to stop and start at random, but that was minor. Crew was efficient and friendly. Food was very good. Leaving St Petersburg noticed that a Costa ship had passed us shortly after leaving port. When we awoke we were not in Tallinn and the Captain announced the engine problem. From there things quickly went down hill. Everything the ...

Great Ship & Ports....miss on dining and entertainment!

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

My 14 night Baltic cruise during the summer of 2015 with Royal Caribbean on the Serenade Seas was two different experiences. The Ports of Call and the ship herself were a 5 Star experience. Royal Caribbean as a company provided a 1 Star Experience…below WOW! The ship has a capacity of 2,500 passengers and 900 crew. This was my 2nd Cruise after my Mediterranean cruise on a competitor’s ship ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

User Avatar

I am not a cruiser, but I was horribly disappointed with Seven Seas Voyager Baltic Crusie 14/7/2014. I knew we were in for a stormy ride when the sommelier stated "presecco is just like champagne but only from Italy." When champagne finally arrived from three decks below and 30 minutes later the young man presented the bottle and stated it was from "Brut, France." Things went down hill from there. ...
