We have long planned to travel to the Scandinavian countries and Viking gave us a two week dream come true . We were wowed every day of site seeing! The tours and guides were outstanding! The sites we saw were amazing- One beautiful site after another. The touring could not have been any better! The food on board was wonderful! The selections of "destination" meals were always delicious! We ...

Viking takes care of you. From when you land, to taking you to your flight check in. They are always there. Top notch services, ships, tours, food choices, spa, pools and shows. The Mars was brand new. We enjoyed our accommodations. our cabin steward , Darwin was top notch! We couldn't ask for a better cruise. Viking made us feel like stars! They did a great job with adjusting ports after the ...

We've wanted to do a Baltic cruise and we knew Viking would be good. We were disappointed that Russia, Finland and Estonia were taken off the agenda. We had done the Rhine/Danube River cruise and loved it. The crew was always friendly, attentive and meeting our every need. The boat was always spotless and our room was cleaned daily. The 6 food venues were always good--especially the buffet. ...

The Viking Homelands cruise of Scandinavia and other countries on the Baltic Sea has always been high on our bucket list. After two years of no cruises due to Covid, we were excited when Viking started back up and there were openings on their new ship Mars. The gracious Viking staff took care of our every need. Our arrival flight into Stockholm was delayed and we did not embark until nearly ...

The beauty of Norway was spectacular. While I loved Denmark and Sweden, Norway and its fjords were amazing.

We originally chose the cruise because I had always wanted to go to St Petersburg. Obviously with the war taking place the itinerary had to be changed. Viking made substitutions and while they weren't as amazing as Catherine the Great, I appreciated their efforts. The staff was exceptional. They were friendly, always looking to make sure you had everything you needed. The entertainment was ...

We knew Viking does a wonderful job of cruising and we wanted to see a part of the world we had not seen before. We were not disappointed! The Scandinavian countries all lived up to our expectations! The scenery is gorgeous and the history is interesting. Karlskrona, Sweden, was a surprising treasure; Copenhagen was charming; Eidfjord, Norway, was stunning! We were amazed at the bridge over the ...

This was our first Viking Cruise. We did the Viking Homelands with the pre-cruise extension in Iceland. From the minute we got off the plane in Reykjavik to the time we got on the plane for the return flight, everything was flawless. There was more than adequate help for the excursions and the housekeeping, dining, and other staff members were helpful and courteous. I would say it was one of ...

I choose Viking because I wanted to treat myself to a great vacation and I wanted to be pampered. Mission accomplished. Viking took care of me. They fed me delicious meals and entertained me. Viking had great excursions and guides to help me explore new cultures and countries. Their spa, on the ship, soothed my muscles and gave me relaxation. Just being on the ship was a vacation. I enjoyed ...

We had originally book on a cruise to the Amazon, but that was cancelled due to COVID. When cruising opened up again, we used the credit Viking gave us and chose the Viking Homelands cruise. My ancestors were from Norway and Sweden, and I enjoyed a previous trip there. We also wanted to see Iceland. We had taken a Viking River cruise about 6 years ago and enjoyed it but weren't sure how we ...

This cruise gave us a fantastic overview of the countries on the Baltic Sea. We visited Sweden, Poland, Germany, Denmark, and Norway. The cruise was originally scheduled to stop in Finland, Russia, and Estonia but the political situation made that unsafe. We were disappointed, but Viking arranged substitute ports well before we sailed and we found those ports interesting. We extended with Viking ...
