Decided to go to Le Galion beach as I knew that there were quite a few ships in port that day so Orient would be packed. After getting in port, we went to the taxi stand. We were first put in a taxi van with other folks, but none of them were going to Le Galion- they were all going to Orient. But right before we left, they pulled us out as another large group showed up and wanted to go to Galion. ...

My favorite island. This is our second time to St. Martin, and I loved Orient Beach so much the last time, we just went straight there again!! Man, would I LOVE to see Orient Beach at night!! Someday we will come here for a week.... or more! We took the ship's excursion, and it was a really good value. I think it was 54 dollars and included one cocktail or drink of your choice and a lunch of ...

On St Martin/Marteen we took the ship's excursion (by bus) that stopped in Marigot for an hour and then on to Orient Beach. The tour bus waited for passengers from another ship to arrive, so we got a late start. Marigot is somewhat European in flavor, and 1 hour did not do it justice. We liked the shopping at the newer mall hear the marina, but never got the chance to find the Patisseries and ...

Cabbed to the French side to shop for handbags and clothing. We were very disappointed that so many shops had closed and those that were open had such limited inventory. The area seemed dirtier that prior visits. ...

Enjoyed Bernard's tours with Junior as our driver. Great tour and Junior was a comedian at times. I only wish we could have had more time in Marigot. We loved the pastry shop, Sarafina's! Do not miss this treat! I would like to come back to St Martin for a week! ...

Our first port was St. Martin and we headed out to Orient Beach. It was very windy, but a nice day. We got a front row chair and umbrella at Orange Fever and stayed there until about 3:30 PM. We had one of their pizzas and some jalapeno poppers for lunch...pretty good and reasonably priced. They also had $10 buckets of Carib beer (7 for the price of 6), as well as a full assortment of frozen ...
