The area right off pier had a wonderful shopping area and restaurants. St Kitts being new to tourism I liked it better than St Maarten, although I overheard some passengers stating the reverse. Not sure what area they experienced but what I did appeared clean and neat. Read Less

We reserved a daypass at the St. Kitt’s Marriott. This daypass did NOT include towels, food or drinks. It DID include an amazing hotel, great beach, great pools, good food and good drinks at your own expense. The beach was fantastic and so was the hotel. Arlene, our cab driver, came back and got us from the hotel and took us up the mountain to see where the Atlantic Ocean and the Carribean Sea almost meet. You must see it. After getting off the ship, we went to the taxi stand before the tourist information building and secured a taxi with Le Matt tours. It cost us $14 pp roundtrip for a trip to Cockleshell Beach with a stop at Timothy Hill Overlook on the way. We were dropped off at Reggae Beach Bar and rented 2 chairs and an umbrella for $20. Cockleshell Beach has beautiful white sand and clear, blue water. The snorkeling was mediocre but we did see a few fish. Drinks were expensive at Reggae so we walked down the beach and got beers at another beach bar for $2 each. Overall, we were pleased with Cockleshell Beach and Le Matt tours. Read Less

We hired Greys Island Tours. We had Thereford Grey and his nephew take us out around the island, up to the Palm Court Gardens, and then to Shipwreck Beach Bar. The snorkeling was very good here. We saw a star fish and a sea turtle. I had seen most of this island before but had never been to the gardens. They also stopped at an overlook for us to shop and take pictures with the monkeys (for a fee). We had a great time and the six hour tour was only $25! Read Less

Agatha took us to the Fairview Greathouse and Botanical Gardens, to a batik maker and the gardens on their site and to Brimstone Hill. All three sites were fabulous. This was my absolute favorite tour and my favorite island. Read Less

We went to cockleshell beach & the Reggae bar. The bar was cool and we got GREAT massages from the awesomely experienced girls there for $35 again of course we tipped as well the one has a new baby. The beach however was VERY crowded chair packed tight next to each other in rows tight together with avenues every once in awhile to head towards the roped off swimming area which was also very small. Tons of fish. It was overcast this day so the water didn't have any sparkle either.Too packed for me so in March we are taking the $49 catamaran to nevis for 5 hours over to Pinneys beach which looks promising and hopefully keeps that 5 star rating or I will drop it to 4 if not. I say 4 because where the Caribbean meets the Atlantic on this island is GORGEOUS!!!! Read Less

Took an open air taxi to Shipwreck Bar on the beach. Wonderful place! Off the beaten path! I think it’s down the beach from Carombola beach club. Sipped Carib beers on the beach all day while daughter snorkeled. Loungers and coverings were free to customers. Read Less
