This was an interesting town center with a large cathedral. Unfortunately it was a Sunday so most stores and businesses were closed limiting your options. There is a technical museum close by that should have been on the schedule and in waling distance from where the buses were parked. Look into this museum if travelling to Speyer. ...

Our tour guide was a life-long resident, so he could relate much history of this charming town. The Lutheran Church has amazing paintings on the ceiling and ornate woodwork. We also learned about the history of the Jewish community and saw a ritual bath (mikveh) that was also built in the 11th century. My ...

The river cruise became a bus cruise. We did not see this site. We sat on uncomfortable buses rather than cruise comfortably on the boat. I cannot speak to what their excursions should have been. ...

We had the choice of going to the technical museum or into town, we felt it was too hot for the technical museum which was mainly outdoors, so made our way into town and then on to the Jewish Museum with its ancient ritual bath (Mikve).
