When I was a little kid the TV show "Bonanza" was big. Like Tombstone,AZ Skagway is a real place but one where if Hoss and Little Joe rode into town you wouldn't even be surprised! LOL. It is like an old west town with boardwalks and a saloon and I love it! ...

Did bus tour. Was a small shuttle type bus. Guide was awesome gave great information. Train wasn’t going all the way, bus was cheaper than train more comfortable than the train and you get to stop and actually take pictures at places you can’t do that on the train. ...

Due to Covid and the end of the season, Skagway was a ghost town too. Only a few shops open for business understandably. We took the ride on the White Pass Railway which was shortened quite a bit due to a high elevation bridge out of service. Unavoidable problem, but disappointing. ...

We did the Rain Forest Biking which was lots of fun. Skagway is a cute town with lots of shops. We also hiked the Lower Lake trail (very strenuous and steep). ...

a very pretty City also, not very big at all. Very walkable, but not much to do. The big attraction is the railway, but it was under partial maintenance so the trip was about half of usual. Not much else to do other than that ...

Don't miss out on taking this excursion. We took the streetcar tour. Our hostess was Red who did a great job of driving us around Skagway. The drivers all dress up in clothes that dated back when original streetcar ran. There is minimal walking on the tour. Don't miss. We did not go on White Pass railroad as we had gone on it 20 years ago. ...

Skagway offers plenty to do. On this cruise, I hiked the trail to Yakutania Point. It's an easy hike, just a a few miles roundtrip from the ship. After my hike, I stopped by the Skagway Brewing Company to enjoy tasting a flight of beers. They were all delicious. My favorite was the hazy IPA. ...

Skagway was fun. The train ride was beautiful with spectacular scenery. A bridge was being worked on so we only got to mile 13. Still saw a lot. Downtown Skagway is coming back to life. The Red Onion saloon was fun. ...
