We came to Singapore few days before, to enjoy the most expensive city in the world. On the day before embarking the Orion we met with the other fellow cruisers and actually a couple of them we knew from before. It was a treat to see them again after so many years. Me and Pat were enjoying a couple of Lindblad cruises, even before when it was National Geographic. In the past few years we have been ...
After previous plans to celebrate our 40th Anniversary fell through, this cruise fitted the time frame. We wanted something special so booked a Junior Suite. It turned to a nightmare when our booking was canceled a day later (no one explained how) and there were no other suites available. Thankfully our travel agent and RCI helped us snatch a Golden Junior Suite when it became available later that ...
We loved this ship, although it is geared to the Asian market we really enjoyed it.
The facilities are excellent and the decor is very tasteful. The buffet had a very good selection with food of a high standard. The main dining room and service were also very good. Our balcony cabin was tastefully furnished with an excellent layout for storage and space. The crew were professional, ...
I had an extended balcony Britannia room midship on L6. The room was tight but sufficient. There was a small desk, 2 bedside drawers, wardrobe space, under the bed storage, a small fridge, small kettle, with tea and coffee sachets and little packets of biscuits every day, and small chocolates in the evening. There was a complimentary bottle of champagne. Room was serviced twice day.

We sailed on the World Dream in January 2021, as part of a limited cruise to nowhere sailing out of Singapore. We booked a Palace Suite but had a hard time finding information on the exact benefits, so sharing our experience here.
SWAB TEST
Online check-in prior to arrival is mandatory. You receive a 15-minute timeslot to arrive at Marina Bay Cruise Centre. You are directed to the swab test ...
Everything was excellent on board the QoS sailing (to "nowhere"). Such a relief to just go out to sea for 4 nights, even when it literally goes nowhere but back to home base at Marina Bay cruise centre, Singapore. Service was superb, activities were properly socially distanced and since we went on the 7th (which is the week school reopens here), there wasn't a crowd to contend with. Love the ship, ...
We booked this cruise as it was the first sailing by RCI after the pandemic had started, and it was one of the few travel options available to Singaporeans, and we are also regular RCI cruisers, so it was an easy decision.
As the pandemic was still going on at the time of this review, there were many safety measures in place. The sailing was only open to residents of Singapore, and no port ...
Took a short break just to get out of Singapore.
Check-in :
Ship sail is at 9pm. My Covid test was at 5pm.
Covid test and check-in & immigration took less than 90 mins.
We were on board the ship at about 630pm. Went to our room (Balcony Stateroom). It was nice and a good size too (bigger than some hotel rooms in HK that I have stayed in before). Comfortable bed, nice sofa. Good size ...
This was the link cruise between Imagine Cruising’s Wonders of the World tour which should have included China and India - full review of that on Tripadviser.
Joined the ship at Singapore and set sail for a 14 day journey to Mumbai via Thailand, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Cochin. From the first moment the ship and its staff exceeded expectations - a smaller ship at 604 passengers than many cruise ...
We chose this cruise — 14 days Singapore to Mumbai — because we were offered a once-in-a-lifetime deal.
Sadly, CV-19 caught up with us and seven of our ports refused us entry. Nevertheless, after 18 days, we made it to Darwin, in Australia.
How can I begin to explain how marvellous the crew were! The ship was kept absolutely spotless! And I mean that. Every day, every surface was sanitised — ...
