After the included walking tour in the morning which itself was great, we went to the salt water lagoon in the afternoon and learned about oyster farming. Another pretty port. We purchased a tour to see a vermouth winery. It was worth the price for the tour and tasting and the guide was excellent. Ride to & from winery was maybe 30 mins and included some stops at scenic points for photos of the port, etc. ...
My wife and I really enjoyed the night shore excursion to Montpellier. It was great to see the main square area at night with all the people and restaurants. We had dinner near the main square prior to returning to the ship. If you are looking for a unique experience, we recommend Montpellier in the evening as it gives you a chance to see a different aspect of local life in Montpellier. ...
