Seattle is always a lovely place to visit, however it was extremely crowded this visit and traffics was miserable.

We used to live in the area, so we didn't really spend a lot of time "touring" although we did stay at the Grand Hyatt and met friends for dinner at Il Bistro. Recommend both of those!

We arrived in Seattle the night before the cruise and stayed at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront. Although this hotel is a little pricey (around $400 for the night), it is literally right across the street from Pier 66, where the Bliss docks. It is an 8-10 minute walk right down the street to the Seattle Aquarium and wharf area. It is also about a 10 minute walk to Pike Place Market and downtown shopping. Great hotel in a very convenient location! Read Less

We were picked up by the NCL shuttle and taken directly to the ship. At this point, do not expect too much, if anything, by being on the Concierge level. I don't even know why they hype this as being part of the Concierge package. By including it as part of the Concierge benefits, ones expectations are diminished. Read Less

Though I still can't get over how expensive it was, we stayed one night at Homewood Suites by Hilton Seattle - Downtown. The hotel was clean, the room was set up well, and the breakfast was good. Best of all we were able to walk up to the space needle area and to the beach walk area. We took Uber to the cruise terminal, but could have walked to it as well - a bit of a walk but doable without a lot of luggage. Read Less
