2-5 Cruises

Age 2020s

Loved our cruise to the San Juan Islands with American Cruise lines. The staff was friendly, very young and tried to please. Our onboard naturalist was a big plus. A lot of onboard activities to keep us busy. The food was plentiful and good. The excursions were well planned. I thought the concurrent “Happy Hour” and dinner was a bit strange. Enjoyed both, though. Sometimes you’d joking others who ...

THE GOOD: Very efficient at embarking and disembarking passengers smoothly. Smiley, welcoming and attentive staff. Very clean and comfortable stateroom. Good entertainment (we watched the dancers). Several choices of bars and lounges, all with excellent service. Pretty good food. NOT SO GOOD: I couldn't help compare this ship with the one I sailed on 20 years ago. It was nothing like ...

10+ Cruises

We are a couple in our early 70s who have been on many cruise lines, 6 of our trips on Princess. We are in NJ and when we saw this cruise leaving out of Seattle, it was just the kind of trip we were looking for since we had a visit to Seattle on our bucket list and it is very far away from NJ, it would kill 2 birds, etc. It was a 7 day cruise to North Pacific, most of the ports we had already ...

Good fun, mediocre food, bad shows

Very disappointed in the food. There are so many choices that it is hard to do them all well. Many nights we did not eat our entrees. Comedy was good and the bands were good but the huge production numbers were embarrassing- so bad and poorly performed. Voices and dancers were off and the shows made no sense. The cruise is good fun if you just know how to have fun. There were no ...

I have been on many cruise lines and several cruises over the years and unfortunately, this was my first and last Princess cruise. We were celebrating our anniversary as we saw several other couples were and chose this cruise for it being more adult orientated and minimal kids.. this was definitely true. However, we were met with disrespect from staff when trying to engage in the activities we had ...

The Pacific Coast cruise took us to Astoria, OR (quaint town), San Francisco, Monterey (gorgeous) and Victoria (cozy and beautiful). Embarkation went very smoothly. We hired a car to take us to the port, so that made it especially easy. Our cabins were very soundproof - never heard our neighbors OR each other (bathroom was very-well insulated). The staff were attentive and kind and the dining ...

I wanted to try a 1 day cruise and it was really more work getting packed and it was over the moment I woke up. However we did upgrade to the Pinnacle Suite which was a lot of fun, and fairly affordable considering this was only one night. The golden marble in the bathroom was beautiful and it is much more tasteful than the newer HAL Pinnacle Suites, however the furniture is silly and the shower ...

Wanted something close to home without having to fly and this was the perfect cruise. Just prepping for our cruise on the Crown in January! The weather could not have been better for this time of year. Embarkation was painless and we were on board in less than 15 minutes. Never waited for anything. We met some amazing people, mostly from Seattle! Others we met were great! Thank you for letting my ...

This was a great cruise overall. As most know, the PNW weather can be iffy in the Fall and we surprisingly had amazing weather for this trip for late September/early October 2019. I didn't know what to pack (even though I live in the PNW) and even with the weather being good, I still didn't pack enough warm clothes for enjoying the outdoor space at sea. We had a balcony room (L301) and many ...

Embarkation - You'll see me saying time and time again, Haven is the way to go! The dedicated Haven security line and lounge to fill out forms was awesome! The parking garage being across the street from the terminal (accessible by sky bridge) was quite nice as well. One problem was when we took the elevator to the floor that said embarkation, the door was secured so we had to get backs downstairs ...
