Review for a Alaska Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

There is plenty to do near the cruise port, shopping, dining, the Pike Place Market and more are in walking distance, and the Space Needle and more are a short distance away. Taxis to or from the airport to the waterfront area are a flat rate of $45. ...

Our cruise ended in Seattle, we had late 11:00P flights. Booked a "Room for the Day" at The Charter Hotel by Hilton and it was Perfect! Would highly recommend and will do again. Centrally located, they allowed us to check in at 8A with room ready for us to leave our bags in the room, very large rooms and upscale property. We walked to The Space Needle, down to the waterfront, up to the Market, ...

Arrived in Seattle 2 days early since we had never been there. Our hotel was a block from Pike Place Market. Everything downtown thrives on the market. When it closes, the downtown seemed to close too. We did a tour around the city, which we enjoyed. But we did not enjoy the high presence of homeless. Some seemed very aggressive. On the bus from the port to the airport after our cruise, I was ...

Enjoyed our three days here. Brought a three-attraction CityPass and went to the Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens, took the monorail down to the Public Market and ended the day with a Harbor cruise. On the other full day we brought a Viator package that took us to Snoqualmie Falls and two wineries - one being the Chateau St. Michelle, where we enjoyed a nice lunch and tasting. Both days were ...

Very walkable with lots to see and do on your own. A 15-20 min walk to Pikes Place & Market, the aquarium is right down from the terminal and a must see is the Chihuly Glass Museum and Garden (at base of Space Needle) about a 25-30 minute walk from the terminal ...

Seattle was bad. Open drug use everywhere, people overdosing on the sidewalk during our drive back from Pioneer Square. A woman in Pioneer square smoking (crack I assume) on a bench and then zoning out in her bra afterwards. Plenty of open drug transactions right in the open while we waited to go into the underground tour. This did not feel like a safe city and it was very dirty. I have no plans ...

Total chaos. Took almost 4 hours to get onboard. There was two ships boarding at same tim. Also delay was caused because people did not have proper documentation with them such as proof of insurance and a visa. Quite a few were turned away. But it was a 23 day cruise so what’s the rush. I would have been furious on a 7 day cruise!! Seattle is a dirty and violent city where there is major ...
