A pretty dismal port. Stayed on the ship mostly aside from having a look at the local shops on the dock. Not much of interest there. There were a couple of boat trips you could take from the dock area. We missed out on those as we were too late getting off the boat. Had a nice relaxing day on the Lido deck though so it was all good :) Read Less

It poured rain all day long, so my excursion to Amatique Beach Break & Lobster lunch was not great. In my opinion it should have been cancelled. We could not use the beach, we did use the pool which was nice. But the wind and rain made us chilly. The lobster was large and quite good but that was the one highlight of the entire day. Took a tour with Happy Fish - not pre-planned, just found them at the port. Enjoyed the visit to the waterfalls very much.

This was a fun place to see the local way of life and the outskirts of the port town. We went to Castillo de Felipe which is a small fort on a large lake. We did a boat ride on the lake which was nice, but the boats were a bit crowded.
