The “ecological expedition” was kind of hokey but it was fun cooling down in the pond under the trickle that passed for a waterfall. Don’t expect Ocho Rios. Read Less

we booked a VERY EXPENSIVE tour to a beach at a private resort including lunch through the ship. enroute the tour guide told us to stay at the pool - we would be hounded by vendors on the PUBLIC beach if we swam on the beach.....what?? The way it was worded, we thought it would be a private beach. When we got there the pool was closed....there were only bathroom stalls to change clothes in. We ended up using the public beach and were hounded by vendors but made the best of it. The lunch was excellent (better food than on the ship). Upon our return, I complained at the shore excursion desk and they refunded us 20%. It was still too expensive for what the day was - but it did help. The tour wasn't worthless - it just wasn't worth what we paid for it. Read Less

Another container port, a few vendors at the pier, mostly overpriced trinkets. The shore excursion reuired hours of bus rides, not a fan.

A nice seaside setting. Overrun by street vendors of all kinds. Had a somewhat disappointing lunch in a streetside cafe.

Went to a resort, but it was supposed to have 56 acres accessible to us and we could never find it. The resort was under construction. The food was very good, but the cost was not worth what we got.

This is a poor city and needs tourist money. None of the tours enticed me. Thus, I simply walked around the area close to the port - and actually ran into tour group after tour group from our ship. They were very disappointed they paid for the same tour I "invented" for myself. There is a little pharmacy close to port where I was able to purchase Coca-Cola products for very little money (beats the $3.20/can for Diet Pepsi on the ship). Read Less
