Woke up pre-sunrise to watch our arrival under the Golden Gate Bridge.
Exited the ship and walked an insane number of steps and stairs around to Coit Tower, Washington Square Park, Chinatown, Cable Car Museum, and Wells Fargo Museum.

Always a great city. The touristy areas on the Embarcadero and Fisherman's Wharf are fun, but there's much more to see. Excellent museums--one most people don't go to is the Legion of Honor, which is at the other end of Golden Gate Park. We took a bus tour and saw many of the classic sights of San Francisco, including a really nice stop on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge looking back at the city, which made for some very nice photos. The tour carefully avoided the trashed-out homeless areas we have seen on the news, and perhaps due to this we missed the chance to take Mom around to some of the areas we had most enjoyed on ...
