we chose this san diego tour which ended at the airport where we retrieved our luggage from under the bus. A surprise was Balboa Park, which is more like Epcot (somewhat) than a plain park. Time for an hour lunch in Old Town. Our choice was Coyote Cafe. Also stopped at the ocean in La Jolla. Local guide. If you have a flight after 4pm this is a good way to fill four or five hours. ...

There is really too much to see and do in one day, but I would suggest going to Balboa Park as there is lots to do there. Also, go to see the Del Coronado Hotel if you haven't been there before--it's a beautiful old hotel and the beach is nice in that area. ...

Took Lyft over to Trader Mort’s Liquor for tiki mug shopping and then walked down to Bali Hai to meet up with So Cal cruising friends for tiki drinks.
