We did pay for this tour. At the evening before, the Cruise Director told all attendees at the end of the comedian's performance (Noodles Levine- and he was AWFUL) that what would happen would be that everyone who had a shore excursion planned through the ship would be taken via tender to this little island that had no services, very few trees, and no access to the Resorts. He even said: "I asked ...
Samana a place of natural beauty with honest hard working people struggling to make it. It is a jewel that needs some help. The landscape is amazing and the people genuine. Have to see it and buy some larimare found on this great island. The MamaJuana was something I had never seen before. This health bark left me intrigued. ...
Nothing to do at this side of the island, there are other place with blue beaches and white sand named las terrenas at samana, I don't know why they stop at the worst place in samana, las terrenas is better and they don't need to going to deep into the bahia.Nothing to do at samana. ...

EXTREMELY POOR with little too offer yet you need to see how some people must have to ...

A male dancer even left the set and came and got me to dance and I'm an old woman. It was awesome. We shopped a bit, stopped for a drink, the whole experience was awesome ...

No dock here so you take shuttle boats to the island. That was where the problem was delaying us from getting off the boat so we missed out scheduled tour. Again Terry and his crew saved the day.We stopped at a woman's house and toured the living conditions. She was baking fresh bread and we got to taste it. THE BEST BREAD ever. Purchased 2 loafs. Next we took a driving tour into the mountains. ...
