having docked at Rotterdam this had changed pre booking ,we had to take a shuttle bus to Amsterdam this only gave us 3hrs instead of around 8hrs, arranged to meet old frends & both parties very sad of such a short stay ...

Spent our pre-cruise night at the Hotel New York (old Holland America headquarters renovated into a hotel). Best note would be - Beware of stairs. My other half forgot about them in the night during a trip to the boys room and we ended up in the emergency room getting stiches, boarding he boat black & blue. ...
