We are currently on this terrible cruise
Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us.
1. So many sea days
Change of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees.
As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have ...
The 2024 World Cruise was supposed to be the crowning jewel of my travel career (so far!)! This cruise has been a disaster. This World Cruise has many itinerary changes due to the events surrounding the Red Sea that affected so many other voyages. But, where others succeeded in passenger care, MSC failed miserably.
They refused to give any refund due to the itinerary change. They instead ...
This ship is very old and outdated. Poor condition, rust on bathroom wall and the balcony area. The interior was old and worn out and not very appealing as it was dark and dreary. While inside the ship during the day you felt like it was nightime. the food was just average with limited places to eat lunch or breakfast. The entertainment was just so-so and limited for a long 16 day cruise. The ...
We chose this cruise because it was a great price and we loved the ports prior to the transatlantic crossing. Here are some bullet points of our disappointment:
When I entered my stateroom there was duct tape on the vent in the shower room and the toilet room.
There was lots of rust all around the ship, including our balcony.
There were ceiling tiles falling down in one of ...
Ship needs another set of elevators, bathrooms near the elevator on 15th Floor Café is much too small. Can’t make reservations for Complimentary Dining. Ship is much too big and venues are too small (always lineups for dinner, lineups for shows & Theatre, disembarkation, everything!), not enough seating in Garden Café, not enough quiet spots, Atrium area (6 & 7th floor) is way too loud. Too many ...
I was HIGHLY disappointed with this Ship. From the food to the abysmal customer service, it’s never failed to continue to unimpressed me. Let us start with the smallest buffet at sea. It is one of the worst, poorly designed buffets in the industry. The selection of food was minimal and the service was trash. Not once during any of my meals was I asked if I would like something to drink. On another ...
We have cruised with NCL 8 times and were looking forward to Viva. There are some positive features to this ship but there are some MAJOR FLAWS.
Positive features: staterooms are very spacious, huge bathroom sinks, spacious showers, good water pressure, and ample closet/storage space for your luggage.
Negative features (where do I start?): the buffet is 4x too small for a ship of this size, ...
This cruise was over a year in preparation. Many of us were first time cruisers. We were a family of 12 looking forward to a Mediterranean Cruise and spent thousands of dollars in both excursions and for the cruise itself. We never made it to our first port Athens due to high winds and were stuck at sea, this in combination to already 2 days of scheduled sea days. We lost all our money on our ...
I can only say if I could I would vote a minus. The food is appalling if you want to lose weight then book with msc even top staff asked us to write a bad review about the food the staff can’t wait to Get ashore for something to eat. No kettle in the room. Dress sense is out of the window. I met a man who had done 31 cruises and this was worst. The only saving grace was the amazing staff they are ...
Booked this cruise just a few days before the sailing as a spontaneous way of returning to the states rather than flying. We’d sailed with MSC many times but not since 2016. I don’t know where you could find such horrible poor quality food. I spotted the executive chef onboard and asked why he allows such embarrassingly bad food and his response was a little shocking. He said,”when we get to ...
