Heart of the Glacier tour takes you into an Ice Cave. It is a bit of a drive so there are a number of stops along the way including an early lunch, which was just OK. The Ice Cave was fascinating as it was built for tourism but wear waterproof clothes & clothes. They do give you a parka and boots to put over your shoes but water is dripping everywhere due to warming and you frequently are walking ...

A cool city, we flew in 2 days before the cruise and wandered around the city on our own before the cruise. Lots of hills, so you'll get your steps in. ...

Take the HOHO bus and go the Perlan museum. We also went to the cathedral and had lunch at the diner close by. Also, take a day tour to the South Coast, it was amazing! Got to see glaciers too and a few villages along with the Black Sand beach with basalt columns.....God is amazing! So many waterfalls and Icelandic ponies. Check out Justin Bieber's Iceland video that has many of this in it. ...

Our first day, we did a tour of a geothermic power plant, some falls, and some guysers, from the ship. It was a great tour and well worth the money. Unfortunately, it was the only day of the entire cruise that the weather was bad (cold and rainy). The second day in Reykavic we toured the city on our own. A really nice place to visit (yay for the Penis Museum!). ...

We did Geothermal fields, vikings and Blue Lagoon. This was a good excursion. The Viking museum was very informative and had a large replica of a viking ship that actually sailed, plus many other artifacts. The geothermal fields had bubbling mud pits which were interesting as was the ride up to it along the lake coast with black sand beaches. The blue lagoon was a very large swiming pool with ...

Busy expensive port. Loved the Elding puffin tour. Easy walking. Take the free city bus from port to the concert hall. Runs every 20 minutes or more when ships are in. At the concert Hal you right down town. ...

Was miserable weather, but we really enjoyed Reykjavik. We did the Golden Circle Tour, which was really interesting and well worth the price. Word of warning: a water resistant coat will be useless if it’s pouring. Take full waterproofs!! ...
