I had been to Reykjavik before so I decided to go to the Perlan, a nature museum. Exhibitions include an Ice Cave, Northern Lights Show and fly over Iceland, Volcano experience, Observation Deck and various other exhibits. I really enjoyed it. I took the local bus there. I needed cash as I didn't have the app on my phone. It drops you off about a 5 min walk away. On the way back I visited ...

Reykjavík charmed the pants off me. Plenty of fellow travellers told me that one day was more than enough in Reykjavík, but I could have spent innumerable evenings sitting outside the Bravo pub enjoying the people-watching. We used SAGA Tours again but in a larger group of 15, and did the Golden Circle tour in about 5-6 hours. It was excellent especially Gullfoss, or Golden Waterfall. We were lucky to be there in the sun with a rainbow. The tour also stopped at Geysir, which was interesting, as was Thingvelir (sic), home of the oldest parliament. All in all it was a good tour. The Icelandic terrain looks like another ...

Iceland is so pretty. We pre-booked a Troll Expeditions trip to the South Coast and saw two waterfalls, stopped at the Black Sand beach with basalt columns near Vik -- where I found puffin, yay!, and hiked on a glacier. All were very awesome and pretty. The tour was well run. We also walked around the city -- trying Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur hotdogs, seeing The Unknown Bureaucrat, Rainbow road to ...

We started and Reykjavik and before our cruise went to the Blue Lagoon for an afternoon of rest and relaxation. It was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our first excursion was one of whale watching and we did see many whales and birds. We also enjoyed the Golden Circle tour. The Thingvellir National Park was amazing and seeing the tectonic plates between the hemispheres is a ...
