We had been to P.V. before, so we decided to take an adventure excursion through the cruise ship this time. The excursion took us by boat and Jeep to the Sierra Madres to take a zip-line/mule ride/rapel/rope-bridge/water slide adventure. It was AWESOME! It was advertised as 'strenuous', but I would say it was 'very strenuous'. We are 49 and 50 and the other 3 couples on the excursion ranged ...

This "scenic highlights" tour was just too long! The good part was visiting the waterfront walkway, the Malecon, in the heart of the city. The sculpture collection was definitely fascinating. The inevitable gift shop visit was as boring as ever, and took far too long. The scenic coastal drive was all right, although views were few and far between. Back in town, we were taken to a restaurant for a ...

Puerto Vallarta has changed a lot through the years and there's a lot of construction. It looks like they're working hard to improve. Our cab drivers were both very polite, though. There's no air conditioning unless you count the 440 version. For Windows down and 40 mph. We were pretty well sweated through by the time we got where we were going. We found a lovely little shop called Roberto's ...

We took the Princess Excursion Tequilla Tasting, Mayahuel Show & Lunch. Our tour guide, Oliver, was so interesting & informative. The tour was really good & we loved the show best. Only disappointment was that the tacos did not compare to the ones we had on the 1st 2 excursions we went on this cruise. ...

We did the crazy zip line adventure. I won't say too much b/c you need to experience it to understand. My main tip is to wear close toed shoes that can get wet. I think Teva type sandals are inadequate. So take an extra pair shoes that aren't your best and may not dry out until end of cruise. I say no to water shoes. Their is a lot of walking, and walking in rocky water. But totally do-able by ...
