Took a private tour (Lawson's) and really loved having a driver and car of our own. We went out to Uxmal and really learned a lot about the ancient Mayans who lived there. We also got to try some authentic Mexican food and see more of the area. I highly recommend a private tour if you can swing it. ...

Lots of jewelry, t-shirts and over priced trinkets. We took the free shuttle ...

Lots of people pushing you to come into their shops and buy things but that's to be expected. We didn't do an excursion here, we just hung out and walked about. It's so interesting to see how people live in other countries, I felt like we really got a feel of how they live there. I liked the culture feeling and learning about their customs and culture. ...
