Chose to remain on board as I wasn't really interested in the shore excursion offerings and was a bit tired of excursions by then. Others reported finding the town interesting and very different from other ports, but I was really just excursioned out. ...

A hidden gem. Got out in the countryside for a hike to tidal rapids. Again, if you want to see what this part of the world has to offer, walking and sea trips are only way to go. ...

A hidden gem. Beautiful places just outside of town. We hiked the area where the tidal rapids are. Good trail and you see what this part of the world truly offers--beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife. ...

You guessed it - it rained! We took a little bus tour and saw the town. That was about it. Nothing very exciting even though it is one of western Canada's busiest ports. ...

Not much going on here. We walked the waterfront and the first visitors gift shop was almost like a flea market. We couldn't wait to get back on the ship. ...

Prince Rupert is a mixed bag. Everyone wants to get off here to say they've been to Canada and it was a jam packed deal to get off the ship and go through Canadian customs. Once off the ship, everyone goes through the few stores that are there and are back on board in an hour or two. Not much to do here. The fact that NCL is not going to stop at Prince Rupert next year is a shame. The area is teaming with wildlife and wonderful friendly people. The stores in the town are all local so no phony chains one can find in the Caribbean. We did the Tsimean Kayak trip and loved every minute. Lots of paddling and then a warm fire on the beach to cook hot dogs and marshmallows and tear apart crabs. What an ...

the only thing I wanted to do there was hike the Butze Rapids trail, but in a steady rain I opted to stay on the ship at this port. The town has nothing much to offer. My friend did go in to look around but came back in an hour after walking the entire town. The only thing she commented on was the cow -printed trash cans in Cow Bay. ...
