Our excursion was cancelled ..it was too HOT for the horses. We did manage to book a city Tour once we left the ship. It was called The Real Portland Tour. The tour guide was a native and gave us a great tour of his city..Told us how to get to a great coffee shop and to go to a beer place called shipyards. ...
I went to Portland Museum of Art with a few people from our group. It’s a nice museum with some material from Maine plus other artists. It was a 10-15 minute walk from the dock, in an arts area. I would recommend. Others from our group went on a trolley bus tour through portlanddiscovery . com which went through the city and out to the Portland head light. They enjoyed the that tour.
We had lunch ...
