Pretty little town with a marina. Very little to do there. We took a nature walk and shopped in a grocery store. Had lunch at a local brew pub - great beer.

There were many wineries, too many for the time we had, and we probably didn't prepare well, but the tour people were great. Have a plan! Read Less

We didn’t do a tour as we found them all quite over priced however the scenery around Picton was absolutely beautiful.

rented a car and drove to Blenheim, then to Havelock and back to Picton. Great scenic drive. Watch out for great views of the ship coming into Picton!

There were live bands playing in the streets. Small picturesque town, they put on a market for the cruise passengers. Not a lot to do here unless you book an excursion but it was nice to stroll around and look in the few shops. If you plan on having lunch, go early to avoid missing out on a table. There are only a handful of places worth eating at (or so we were told by our bus driver). Read Less

Great little place. Wonderful people and well worth a visit. Had a nice coffee and purchased some jewellery at the local markets for half the price we paid in Sydney.
