Had a tour of the James Bond Islands. Great touring in the longboats. Best way to see the islands. Great lunch after. Again not enough time at this port to properly see the attractions. It was a Tender port and it was a 2 hour drive to get to the destination so we only had 2 -1/2 hours at the site which was very rushed. Lost four hours sitting on a bus to get to and from our destination. However the destination of James Bond Island and Panyee overwater village were very good. Out boat lost its propellor and we floated for about 20mins waiting for a replacement. Then had to clember from one boat to the other. Therefore with the lost time were unable to do last stop of shopping area on the tour. ...

Interesting day out although a 90 minute bus ride took us to the jetty to catch a long boat out to James Bond Island, views of limestone cliffs and lunch at a muslim fishing village and schools and mosque with more markets where yo7 can buy pearls, clothing, fans, clothing and silk scarves. We made the mistake of booking the elephant ride tour from the ship. They make the elephants do unnatural tricks and the staff are hungry for tips. The "shopping experience" at the end was just a tourist trap - one shop where the tour operator probably gets a nice commission. I could have done without that. ...
