Portside was very disorganised. We arrived at 11:45am for a 12noon embarkation. There were no wheelchairs available for my 80 year old mother and we didn't start embarkation until nearly 1pm. There are very limited facilities at the terminal building. The luggage drop-off process was also quite chotic. We dropped mum's walker off with the luggage attendant and asked for prioritiy delivery to the room. It did not arrive until just before the 4:15pm safety muster. Luggage for our room was also very slow. Read Less

This was a very good port visit. We took the Hop-on Hop-off with the prison tour. The Fremantle prison tour was 70 minutes and it was great.

Fremantle is a nice town with good restaurants, bars and markets. Plenty of things to do and see. The cruise terminal is shocking and needs an upgrade and staff need customer service training...

Discussed the quad share cabin which only had 2 single beds in it for 4 people. Customer Services was extremely poor and ignorant to assist us. My wife and grandmother decided not to proceed with the cruise.

a free bus took us to Freemantle's old town center where we just walked around looked in the shops and walked to the old jail and looked back to the clock tower and saw what was an amazing optical illusion of rings running up buildings the length of the street. all the building have yellow painted rings on them but you cannot see the full effect until you get to the jail and look back up the street, it is a very clever and difficult thing to have done. If you don;t want an excursion, Fremantle is a great city to just explore on foot. It is also easy to get to Perth by train and bus it around the city. A cheap day out.
