But they could not compensate for the drivers of the motorized cars, trucks, and motorcycles ...
Be sure to stop at the information stand as you exit the port as there are lots of free maps for your particular interest - eg 'foodie tour', 'cultural sites' and more. All the routes were colour coded so we could easily navigate. Be sure to head to the Blue House, and keep an eye out for the free city circle shuttle - it made it easy to jump to the next point of interest.

I should have taken trip to temple on myh own as the Oceania trip was very rushed, I am not so good at climbing stairs and was told we could not get to top of temple-however a buggy was available from car park which we only discovered on leaving ! It is a wonderful temple though and worth a visit-but do it on your own taking a taxi from port. could have spent hours and hours there but only had 1 ...

extremely hot, even worse than singapore except minus the aircon. also not very clean if i look carefully. didnt try the excursion by the cruise by hired our own local driver who were not aggressively marketing in your face. very friendly, non-pushy and laid-back locals. many to see (sad that the cable car wasn't operational due to CNY celebrations) and i wish we berthed longer there. ...
