Due to the water levels, we were in a port that was an hour and half outside of Passau! Which also meant that the tour to get to Salzburg was more than 3 hours each way -- unreasonable! Just horrible! Read Less

The walking tour was the usual walking tour. In the afternoon we rented bicycles and road to Schaerding. That was better than anything Viking offered. Read Less

Due to low water had to bus to Passau and found walking tour a bit slow so did our own tour. Nice town but not worth a second look. Only did it because other cities were cancelled. Read Less

We loved Passau. Had a city tour with a well-informed guide. Went to an organ recital at the main cathedral that was very impressive. Bought an authentic Black Forest cuckoo clock. Had a second day of walking around in this charming town with a good lunch in town. Read Less

We did a walking tour of Passau on our own, since we hadn't signed up for the excursion but they gave it to us because of the barge issue. What a quaint little town with such friendly people. Went to a great restaurant and had delicious pizza and beer before we shopped some more and then took our shuttle bus back to the boat. Read Less
