Always wanted to visit Monet’s garden and the Normandy landing beaches. Lovely crew very efficient Cruise manager, good food. I do prefer the Viking light wood everywhere and Scandinavian design but the Tapestry 2 (dark wood everywhere) very comfortable. The excursions were all very good and well organised. Love Viking - Cruise Director did a great job. The places we went to were very interesting and memorable. The dining experience was excellent every day.
Great organization in getting us to and from the ship. The coach that was not a Viking coach that we had was not in very good shape and the seats were very tight. The Viking coaches were much better.

We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary. The staff was amazing and super friendly. Food was excellent although the portions tended to run small. For faster lunch and dinner service sit closer to the kitchen. The wait staff serves from the kitchen end first, then on towards the entrance. We have always heard amazing things about Viking River Cruises. We chose this one because we wanted to visit the beaches of Normandy. As for the cruise itself, Viking is wonderful. Too many industrial and manufacturing sites along river route, no especially scenic

I was hoping that after 10 years that this ship would have been given a spruce up and a refurbishment with the bland Scandi decor.
